About Us

We are the last steam-powered cider mill in the United States. We run the mill to this day, making sweet cider and hard cider. We have been family-owned and run from the very beginning. Currently, we have 4th, 5th, and 6th generation family members working at and operating Clyde’s.

At Clyde’s, take a step back in time and watch our historic steam-powered press in action. We press as needed, but you are always welcome to take a peek inside and look at the building.

At our store, we proudly offer fresh-pressed cider, our famous cider donuts, baked goods, and a selection of local, handmade products. Choose from honey sourced from dedicated local beekeepers, savor candied apples lovingly crafted by our family, and explore a diverse selection of treats and jarred goods.

We produce traditional hard cider and apple wine, selling our hard cider straight from the historic cellar where it has been crafted since the very beginning. Our tasting room, housed in a converted grist mill once used to make johnnycake meal, features many distinct apple wines for you to experience and enjoy.

Visit our gift shop located inside the tasting room, offering a selection of gifts, merchandise, and locally crafted items, including handmade earrings, postcards, and art prints.
